Dress Code Guide

We're encouraging everyone to incorporate elements of the tropical destination in their attire, from vibrant colours to beach-inspired accessories. Comfort is essential in the warm weather, so please choose lightweight and breathable fabrics.

The below is only a guide, feel free to dress in a way that makes you feel the most stylish and comfortable while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Welcome Drinks: Smart Casual with a Tropical Twist

The dress code for the welcome drinks is similar to a laneway bar in Melbourne, of course, incorporating a tropical theme of the destination.

For Men:

  • Lightweight, breathable fabrics such as linen or cotton are ideal.
  • Options include short-sleeved button-down shirts, lightweight polo shirts, or tropical print shirts.
  • Pair your top with well-fitting chino shorts or lightweight trousers.
  • Opt for closed shoes, boat shoes; avoid flip-flops or sandals.

For Women:

  • Embrace the tropical vibe with sundresses, maxi dresses, or flowy skirts.
  • Tropical and floral prints are encouraged, but bright and pastel colours work too.
  • Complete your outfit with comfortable sandals, espadrilles, or chic wedges.
  • Remember to accessorise with statement jewellery, a sun hat, and sunglasses.

Ceremony and Lunch: Semi-formal coastal comfort

While we encourage semi-formal attire, we understand that the tropical climate can be warm and humid, so please select clothing that will help you stay cool throughout these daytime events.

For Men:

  • A lightweight suit jacket in a breathable fabric such as linen or cotton is perfect; feel free to pair it with shorts or 3/4 length pants.
  • Pair your suit with a lightweight dress shirt or canvas shirt, and consider opting for lighter colours, such as pastels or earthy tones.
  • No need for Ties unless you really would like to wear one.
  • Quality leather shoes, boat shoes and a stylish belt will complete your look.

For Women:

  • Ladies, this is your opportunity to shine in a beautiful summer dress. Choose fabrics that keep you cool.
  • Elegant, knee-length or floor-length summery dresses are both suitable options.
  • Embrace the tropical ambience with vibrant colours or floral patterns.
  • Remember to accessorise with statement jewellery and chic heels.

Accessories:

  • Consider a hat or a sun hat to shield yourself from the sun.
  • Sunglasses and sunscreen are highly recommended for comfort during the outdoor ceremony and festivities.

  • Pair your suit with a crisp dress shirt and leather dress shoes.
  • Consider cufflinks to complete your look.

For Women:

  • Ladies, prepare to dazzle in a formal evening gown that complements the tropical setting.
  • Flowing fabrics, vibrant colours, and intricate details are all welcome, as they echo the spirit of the destination.
  • High heels and elegant accessories, including statement jewellery and a clutch, will add to your overall look.
